David K. Murrin


In 2008 David Murrin formed Alpha Energy in conjunction with Marcellous Butler to develop community based wind energy facilities. Mr. Murrin has been the driving force behind Community Scale Wind Energy in Maryland. He is a strong advocate of distributed energy and community based energy facilities for national energy security and grid stability. Mr. Murrin is an accomplished leader and business owner. Mr. Murrin established Atlantic Logistics and Trading, a chemical trading company focused on the international trade of bulk chemicals and solvents and is a licensed Master Mariner with over 18 years of experience operating ships around the world. Mr. Murrin is a former Marine and graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.


Marcellous Butler


Mr. Butler has a diversified professional skill set and over 16 years of project management and business development experience. Mr. Butler is Alpha Energy's President and is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including capital acquisition, operating costs and project planning. Mr. Butler studied at the Fox School of Business at Temple University and has extensive experience in financial management, business operations and real estate.



Christopher Burgess


Mr. Burgess is responsible for ensuring that business operations are efficient and effective. He is the lead for project development and the regulatory affairs of the company, including site planning, local zoning and variances and environmental compliance. Mr. Burgess has over 10 years of experience as an environmental professional and project manager with a variety of experience in multi-disciplinary projects. His responsibilities and area of expertise include new business development, preliminary feasibility studies, project planning, compliance documentation and governmental relations. Mr. Burgess holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University and a Masters of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
